Hernan created what he calls a Kirlian device, an instrument that reads the signal strength of WiFi networks and translates the signals into five-color LEDs. Red indicates the strongest signals, blue represents the weaker.

Mit seinem Equipment schießt Hernan langzeitbelichtete Fotostrecken, welche er Spirit Photographs nennt. Das funktioniert circa so:

„The fact we are becoming increasingly reliant on something that we can’t see intrigues me. I wanted to find a way to show the wireless which is around us and also to show how it changes.“
